Some pictures to remember my nine friends I've worked with over the past seven weeks. In the beginning it was awkward having to work with other people. But as we worked together for a certain period of time we became very close. Today is our last day working together. We had a little pizza party. I would like to come apply for this program again next year. I am very thankful to the staffs especially Leslie. I hope I have a chance to see how my friends are doing and keep in touch with everyone here. I will miss you guys!

Day 16 - Bakery Nouveau

Today myself and other interns went to Bakery Nouveau. The owner is an excellent baker. He is a very nice and open minded guy. I enjoyed taking pictures of all the different types of desserts and the process it takes to make one. But taking pictures of food made me got really hungry.

Day 15 - Easystreet

Yesterday myself and other interns went to easystreet records. Our assignment was to take photographs of us hanging out. Our task was to take photographs of what teenagers do when there hanging out.

Day 14 - Westcrest Park

Yesterday myself and the other interns went to Westcrest Park and South Seattle Community College. The college had a lot of beautiful plants and flowers. I had a great time taking macro shots of the different types of plants and flowers.

Day 13 - Duwamish River Park

On Tuesday the other interns and I went to Duwamish River Park to take photos. The Duwamish Tribe was the first people that lived in Seattle.

Day 12 - Alki

Last week myself and the other interns went to Alki Beach and Jack Block Park to take pictures. I enjoyed taking photos at Jack Block Park, because the park had a great view. Hai, Alex, and I rolled down a big hill while others took photos of us, that was the best thing about the park.

Day 11 - Pista Sa Nayon

Yesterday, myself and other interns went to capture photos at Pista Sa Nayon. Pista Sa Nayon is a Filipino Event. Pista was held at Seward Park, Wa.

Day 10 - Pike Place

Last week myself and other interns went to Pike Place Market to take pictures. Its starting to become a challenge for me, when I take pictures in the sun. I had to work on the ISO and exposure settings on my camera. ISO is the sensitivy of the camera.

Day 9 - Colors

Today at RecTech we worked on our pictures we took at Lincoln Park through Photoshop. I like the effect of the Auto Smart Fix tool because it makes the colors on the pictures look really vivid.

Day 8 - Lincoln Park

Yesterday I went to Lincoln Parks to take different types of pictures like warm and cool colors. We went to an Eagle's Next but there were no eagle there at that time =p. I had a fun time taking pictures of nature because it fits into my theme.

Day 7 - KaBOOM

Today is the closing ceremony at Delridge Community Center. KaBOOM had planned a two month project of building a playground at the Community Center. The project was sponsored by the Bank of America. 250 volunteers were envolved in building the playground.

Day 6 - Long Fellow Creek

Today we got to explore Long Fellow Creek and take pictures. I enjoy taking picture of nature because I think it would be a pretty cool theme for my blog. I got to learn about the ISO setting on a camera, the high and low resolution pictures.

Day 5 - Photographic Center

I got to visit the Northwest Photographic Center and learn about different types of photo prints. I learned about the process it takes to develop a film and it was very interesting. I've seen a lot of different types of professional photography.

Day 4 - Street Festival

On Friday I went to the West Seattle Street Festival. Our task was to focus on a topic and also take different types of photos. It was our first assignment we got to go on our own and take photos.

Day 3 - Youngstown

Today I visited Youngstown Cultural Arts Center to learn different types of picture effects. Like the sunny, cloudy, vivid types of effects. Then we learned how to take digital macro shots. I enjoyed the digital macro feature because I can seem a very tiny object incredibly clearly and detailed.

Day 2 - Luke

Today I got to take a pictures of Luke. Luke is a very active dog so it was hard to capture a nice footage. I enjoyed taking pictures of Luke because it looked like he was having fun getting his picture taken. I also learned how to use photoshop tools.

Day 1 - Beginning

Hey it's Kevin here today. Today is my first time creating a blog. I experience what its like to be like as a photojournalist. I got to practice capturing pictures of my surroundings. Pictures of nature, different views and angles of pictures. =)
